Built in 1832, The Royal is the Island’s premier four-star hotel and shares the rare privilege of being one of only 30 establishments to be listed in every Michelin Guide since it was first published in 1911.  The Royal was also the first hotel on the Island to achieve Four Stars, AA rating and has held 2 AA Rosettes for excellent food for over 20 consecutive years.

Full time Receptionist required

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Providing a warm welcome to our guests, you must be able to anticipate their needs and exceed their expectations.

Working in a high pressured environment, you will be responsible for taking room, restaurant and event reservations and should be able to work in a calm, organised and professional manner. You must be a confident communicator and strong administration and computer skills are essential.

Night Porter

Part Time Night porter required 

The role will involve primarily being responsible for the hotel safety and guest welfare at night and includes but not limited to security patrols, answering phone calls and cleaning duties. The successful applicant will be required to work Friday and Saturday nights 11.00pm – 8.00am and will also be required to cover holidays.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has risen at our award winning 2 rosette restaurant for a new Chef De Partie or Junior Sous Chef.

This is a hands on role and applicants must have the passion for cooking, hard working, flexible and passionate about the industry.

Previous experience is essential & you should be able to run a section in our award winning kitchen.
