A quote from The Telegraph:
“The owner takes food seriously; 98 per cent of guests eat in every evening. Our Sunday lunch went well beyond the usual roast (excellent), with choices such as pan-fried sea bass with fennel risotto and asparagus. In summer you can eat out on the terrace, where afternoon tea is another attraction.”
A visit to our glorious, award-winning restaurant will linger in the imagination long after you return home. The menu created by our head chef Steven Harris, will delight and surprise any seasoned gourmet.
Lunch and afternoon tea are served daily in the relaxed setting of The Bar, our charming New! Brasserie or our beautiful, Colonial-style conservatory and terrace with its backdrop of rare, pink, climbing mountain geraniums.
The Royal Afternoon Tea features a dainty assortment of sandwiches with fillings such as cucumber, egg and cress and salmon. To follow, an exquisite selection of cakes, meringues, patisseries and freshly baked scones and cream all prepared lovingly by our talented patisserie chef.
