The Royal was also the first hotel on the Island to achieve Four Stars, AA rating and has held 2 AA Rosettes for excellent food for over 25 consecutive years.

We have seasonal part time positions in our housekeeping department.
The Royal Hotel Ventnor is the leading hotel on the Isle of Wight and we are looking for two new members to complement and expand our long standing housekeeping team. Exemplary cleanliness is something we strive for at The Royal so we are looking for candidates who are hard working, show pride in their work, will work well as part of a team and independently, and have a desire to provide fantastic customer service.
Rate of pay: Competitive rates + tips
Duties include the cleaning and preparation of rooms for guest’s arrival and during their stay. Working hours will be predominantly during the peak season (May-September), including weekends and bank holidays however employment is available 12 months of the year including the festive season with variable hours available during the winter months. Shifts are daytime only and can vary between 4-7 hours per day.
Prior experience of working in a cleaning role is preferable, but not essential. It is crucial to be smart, well-groomed with a positive attitude.
