Built in 1832, The Royal is the Island’s premier four-star hotel and was also the first hotel on the Island to achieve Four Stars, AA rating and has held 2 AA Rosettes for excellent food for over 25 consecutive years.

HOUSEKEEPERS

The Royal Hotel is the Isle of Wight’s leading four-star hotel and we are seeking two candidates who can work in a fast paced environment for our summer season (May-October).

What are we looking for?

Energetic individuals with a positive attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Ability to work independently, efficiently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills.
Hard working and reliable.

What does the job entail?

Clean guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
Restock guest room amenities such as towels, soap, and shampoo.
Report any maintenance issues to the head housekeeper on shift or duty manager.
Ensure that all housekeeping supplies are stocked and available for use.

Hard working and reliable team members.
Experience is beneficial, however full training will be given so is not essential.
