We are seeking energetic individuals who can work in our fast paced housekeeping team, and are passionate for creating and maintaining the highest standards for all that choose to stay with us.

What are we looking for?

  • Energetic individuals with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. No evenings.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Hard working and reliable.

What does the job entail?

  • Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Restock guest room amenities such as towels, soap, and shampoo.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the head housekeeper on shift or on duty manager.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping supplies are stocked and available for use.

FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBERS


What are we looking for?

We are looking for front of house staff to work in our restaurant and food service areas. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and can work effectively within a team as well as independently. Experience is beneficial, however full training will be given so is not essential. The Royal is well-known for training its staff and is a valuable stepping stone for a successful future career in hospitality. We value team work and a family-style culture, and we are looking for the right people who are looking to be a part of our Royal family. Many of our staff in various departments have gone on to build their careers at The Royal.

The Geranium Restaurant at The Royal Hotel has proudly held 2 AA Rosettes for 30 years for its outstanding service and food. The restaurant has also won a Beautiful South Restaurant of the Year Award for 3 consecutive years and has recently been nominated for a Visit England Award.
