Our Head Chef Jacob Gough and his team of talented chefs have crafted an exquisite selection of dishes that reflect the essence of autumn, offering comforting, rich flavors with a modern twist.

Begin your dining experience with a variety of mouthwatering starters. For those who enjoy a taste of local flavour, the Gallybagger Soufflé is a must-try, paired with spiced butternut and crunchy salted pumpkin seeds. If you’re looking for something with a little more zing, the Curried Risotto features smoked haddock, a perfectly crispy egg, and a sweet-salty sultana puree, brought together by a garnish of parsley cress.

For a touch of sophistication, indulge in the Smoked Duck, served with a delicate celeriac remoulade and Pain d’épices, and elevated by a cranberry and honey dressing with a hint of ginger. Vegetarians will love the Roasted Roots, beautifully complemented by Thai emulsion, chilli maple, pickled blackberry, and the crunch of peanuts. For something heartwarming, the Parsnip Soup offers a velvety texture with pear dressing and oat and chai seed bites.

Our main courses celebrate the best of local and seasonal produce. The Brined Isle of Wight Fillet is a standout, with its succulent meat served alongside celeriac fondant, sautéed shiitake mushrooms, aioli, and a bold sour cherry sauce. Seafood lovers will delight in Today’s Fish, a fresh daily catch paired with crushed new potatoes, creamy leeks, and a saffron tapioca cracker.

For a rich, indulgent option, try the Confit Duck Leg with its creamy "liquid gold" potato, salt-baked beetroot, hazelnut, and plum jus. Meanwhile, the Pork Tenderloin is accompanied by nutmeg-scented Pomme Anna, spinach, red cabbage, and a mustard and shallot sauce for a comforting autumn dish. Vegetarians are not left out with the vibrant Roasted Pumpkin, served with chestnut gnocchi, shiitake mushrooms, and compressed grapes.
