Meet The Royal’s dedicated weekend housekeepers, Summer, Aisha, Alison, and Ruby, talented young ladies who bring energy, teamwork, and care to every shift, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay for our guests.
Aisha Hinson
Aisha has known Sadie, our head of housekeeping, since she was a child. Excited to now be part of the team, she balances work with her A Levels, enjoying shifts alongside her friend, Summer, who “helps keep me motivated.” Working here has helped Aisha build confidence and develop skills she’ll use in her future as an architect. “Hospitality experience will help in dealing with future clients,” she notes. When she’s not studying or working, Aisha loves spending time with her friends, appreciating the positive impact this role has on her life.
Alison Liang
Alison appreciates the positive, energetic team vibes and is quick to praise her coworkers: “The people I work with are high spirited!” Alison has gained essential skills like teamwork and positive communication, saying, “Social skills, like working in a team, have really helped me grow.” Alison is keeping her future options open but knows that the skills she’s gaining now will benefit her down any path she chooses.
Summer Butler
Summer discovered the role through her brother, who had worked at The Royal, and was drawn to it by her love for creating a clean, welcoming space. Balancing her work with school, Summer works weekends and school breaks, and she describes her team as “great,” sharing, “I get along with all the ladies, and every day is a good day.” Along the way, Summer has picked up some invaluable skills, from expert cleaning techniques to a spirit of teamwork. When she's not at work, she loves exploring the Island with her family. With a dream of traveling, she feels that her experience at The Royal will be helpful abroad, saying, “I want to travel, and hospitality can be handy worldwide.”
Ruby Bryant
Inspired by her family to join The Royal, Ruby loves seeing the impact her role has on each guest’s experience. Working with supportive teammates like Summer and Sadie, she’s learned to deliver quality and care with every room. Ruby values her team’s upbeat energy, especially on busy days, and is motivated by Sadie, who is supportive of her. She’s proud of her growth here, saying, “I’m proud to work as a team.” Ruby appreciates the fun and responsibility this role brings as she considers her future path.
