Discover the Orient at Robin Hill

The park will be adorned with Chinese lanterns and lighting installations alongside new displays and exciting entertainment.

Providing an oriental backdrop to your visit, you’ll be able to wander through the park’s woodland whilst spotting oriental displays and architecture alongside our Cascading Water Bridge and Triumphal Marble Arch.


Sky High at Robin Hill

29 to 31 May 2021

Sky High will see hot air balloons float back into the park for an extravaganza, culminating in the spectacular Night Glow performances.


50th Anniversary Gala at Isle of Wight Steam Railway

4 June 2021 to 6 June 2021

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is 50 years old this year! They are celebrating with a special gala weekend. With lots of action around the line, this promises to be a memorable occasion for all enthusiasts.


Round the Island Yacht Race

3rd July 2021

The annual Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight, an island situated off the south coast of England. The race regularly attracts over 1,400 boats and around 15,000 sailors, making it one of the largests yacht races in the world and the fourth largest participation sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon and the Great North and South Runs.


Cowes Classics Week

Cowes Classics Week is all about racing traditional yachts on the water and enjoying fabulous social events ashore. Metre boats, Classic Racing Dayboats, Classic Yachts, Old Gaffers and Spirit of Tradition Yachts are all welcome to sail.


Isle of Wight Garlic Festival

Set against a beautiful backdrop of rolling green hills and farmland, the Garlic Festival is located just outside of Newchurch at the heart of the stunning Isle of Wight. The show will be food and entertainment at its very best. A vast array of eats, sights and sounds to suit all tastes and ages. The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival is the islands biggest summer show and simply the best day out for all the family.


Island Steam Show at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway

27 Aug 2021 to 30 Aug 2021

The Island Steam Show is back for another action-packed year. It's the bank holiday event on the Island with bundles of fun and explosive acts in the main arena. Enjoy a fabulous collection of vintage transport, traditional fairground, live entertainment, plus steam trains running on the line.


Walk the Wight

12th September 2021

The main walk (26.5 miles) will start as usual in Bembridge and end at the Needles, though walkers can choose to cover half the distance, either from the start (12.5 miles) or the midway point at Carisbrooke (14 miles to the Needles). This event raises vital funds for the Mountbatten Hopsice in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight
