£470 for two persons staying in a classic double/twin room | 8 - 10 November
Indulge in fine dining on the Isle of Wight this November as we celebrate gastronomic weekend. With an itinerary fit for a king, you will leave us suitably full but not before your taste buds have been awakened to a world of different flavours and delicious recipes.
Prepare for an action-packed Saturday in the appropriate manner by sitting down to a full English breakfast. Energised, you’ll then be greeted by local farmers from Living Larder, guests who delight in detailing the diverse produce they grow at nearby Apse Heath. A chef masterclass will follow, demonstrating how these ingredients are incorporated into dishes you know and love.
Next up is a visit to the Isle of Wight Cheese Company and a demonstration on the art of, you guessed it… cheese making. This particular pit stop will include a pre-arranged tasting session, allowing visitors to sample renowned Isle of Wight dairy.
From cheese to garlic bulbs and a lunch turned tour of the sprawling and magnificent Garlic Farm. Round off the day in style with another three-course meal at our two AA rosette restaurant worthy of the weekend.
A local produce demonstration will also take place prior to dinner on Friday evening at 5.30pm so be sure to arrive in time for this first taste of the Island Gastronomic experience.
