In the recent months, we have all faced unprecedented challenges due to the impact of Covid-19. The health, safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff still remains our highest priority.
We have reviewed the Prime Ministers announcement on Tuesday and there is the need to bring in some extra measures from today (Thursday 24th September) in accordance with the HM Government, Public Health England and UK Hospitality. This includes the essential use of face coverings by both our front facing staff and our guests. The only exception to this will be when seated for food and beverages, inside hotel bedrooms or within the grounds and gardens of The Royal
I wanted to personally share with you on behalf of the team, that this will not diminish the service we provide our guests, but it will slightly disguise our normal friendly welcome.
Rest assured… there is a friendly face behind every mask! Our usual welcoming and professional service will continue even if it is a little veiled! As the saying goes…
“With true happiness, we see it with the wrinkles on the side of our eyes.”
Again, on behalf of the Royal family here at the hotel, we’d like to pass on a heart-felt thank you, for trusting us to deliver a ‘Safe Stay’ for you all, without compromising the four-star experience you’ve come to expect.
And as we move forwards, we will smile with our eyes to save lives.
Yours Sincerely
Andrew M Woodland
General Manager
