Island Echo: Island Businesses Set For Glory At Beautiful South Tourism Awards

​Businesses on the Isle of Wight are being recognised for their excellence at an awards ceremony later this year.


The Tourism South East Beautiful South Awards celebrate the best of the best in the tourism industry in the region. This year, 4 Island businesses have been shortlisted to win either gold, silver or bronze at the ceremony held in Brighton in December.

The Royal Hotel in Ventnor has been shortlisted in 2 categories, Restaurant of the Year and Large Hotel of the Year, Art Deco House at Shanklin for Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year and Away Resorts Whitecliff Bay at Bembridge for Holiday Park of the Year.

Meanwhile Visit Isle of Wight’s Walking Festival, which celebrates it’s 25th anniversary in 2024, has been shortlisted for Event of the Year.
