"With a warmer and sunnier climate than most places around the UK, Ventnor has long been a magnet for writers, artists and other creatives, something that is still true today."
Located on the Isle of Wight’s South-Eastern coast, Ventnor is a popular destination to the discerning holidaymaker. Ever since Victorian times, people have flocked to the area for its balmy Mediterranean climate, clean air and inviting seawater. This is a fabulous area for walking along the breathtaking coastline and St Boniface Down.
One of the Isle of Wight’s best kept secrets is picturesque Steephill Cove, with its sandy shoreline
and beachside cafes. Above lies the exotic landscape of Ventnor Botanic Gardens, home to many rare plant species and the region’s famous wall lizards. To the East of Ventnor, the charming hamlet of Bonchurch beckons, with its ancient church and handsome Victorian villas.
