The Royal has 51 bedrooms including 9 Single Rooms. There are 4 categories of rooms available, many of which overlook our beautiful gardens. All bedrooms are en-suite with tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, television with Freeview channels, complimentary Wi-Fi and hairdryer.

For groups looking to travel between late October and early April, a wide variety of midweek and weekend dates are available, with our lowest rates of the year.
The Royal has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence every year since 1998 and guests will dine each night in our elegant restaurant. We will serve your party our group dining menu which is created daily by our team of chefs. Please view our sample group menu here. For parties of 50 and above, we recommend a bespoke set menu of your choice or upgrading to our tasting menu.

Our Events Management team will help you throughout the planning of your event to assist you in creating the most memorable occasion. All catering and any extra requirements are charged in addition to the exclusivity fee.
Exclusive use starts from 12noon on the day of arrival and concludes at 11.00am the following day. A minimum two night stay applies on weekends. Exclusive hire is not available during Christmas, New Year or on bank holiday weekends.
